UpFast

I was invited by Binu Matthew for an OyeStartups interview. It was an interesting experience, recaping all the steps that led me to where the project is now.

There's still much more way ahead, but just going through what is already behind me makes me super confident about the path I chose.

Can't wait to look back to this point in the future.

I'm very excited to reveal the new UpFast logo!

When I started developing on the app I also wanted to have a logo from the start. But because I'm not a designer, nor really knew what I was looking for, I decided to start with a simple logo made with a logo creator.

It wasn't bad but way too generic for a real app.

I had some ideas about what I wanted my real logo to look like, but it wasn't a priority back then and I wanted to focus on developing the app.

Now that I'm much closer to the launch I finally tackled the logo creation again. I discovered a great designer on Fiverr, that I found through some recommendations here on Indiehackers.

He surpassed my expectations, while checking all the boxes of my design wishlist. His inital draft was already spot on, but there were some things I wanted different. Within a few iterations we landed at the final logo, which I'm very happy with.

The logo includes an image and a text logo. I haven't quite decided if I want to go with both or just the image.

Curious to know what you think about the result. Do you love it or hate it?

Up&Fast is my first Software as a Service product. I've been wanting to start my own SaaS for a while now, after getting inspired by this amazing community.

While at first it just started as a silly idea to test out some programming features, I quickly realized that I wanted to pursue this project and with it my dream of creating my first own SaaS.
