$1,500 MRR: January '20 stats for Upvoty

Another month with amazing growth. We've signed our first enterprise client (a big bank), and we started to get known in certain niches where we got a couple of new clients as the result of word-of-mouth. Our content marketing strategy is starting to take off as well.

    Congrats!

I love your landing page and your pricing plan names! Power, Super Power and Unlimited Power ๐Ÿ˜

Thanks for your kind words! Yeah, one thing I want to share about the psychology behind the names: I often see the smallest plans been given names such as 'basic', 'small', etc. I do think that even if a user picks the smallest plan, they need to feel like they bought something of value. So, we literally named our smallest plan 'POWER'. This way, even when you pick our smallest plan, you feel it's "useful", and not like you bought something really, really small.

    Congrats @mikeslaats

What's your biggest lesson in content marketing strategy?

    1. 2

What worked best for us: guest posts on relevant websites and more evergreen content for our target audience. We've narrowed down our target audience to the max. This really helped us ranking better and coming in front of potential customers.

hi, where do those 9681 visitors come from?

    1. 1

Content marketing, social media, mentions, guest posts, referrals

    Awesome job @mikeslaats

Very inspiring. I would love to know how did you find your first customers. And would you mind to share how your average customer looks like (number of employees, etc.)?

The product I develop is completely different but the target audience might be similar so it would be awesome to hear your experience.
