There is no easy way to find jobs near specific locations. And with COVID, many people are running out of work and will have to look for a new job, either remotely or near their home.

September 1, 2020 Vabiso in ProductHunt !!!

I don't know if it was the best idea, I'm a perfectionist and I don't see the product as finished. If I had time, I would be making improvements to infinity.
But I'm already late, since my plan was to publish before September.

If you find the idea of the job searcher interesting, you can see more information at https://www.producthunt.com/posts/vabiso

Any help is appreciated

August 30, 2020 Import from API with pagination

I have implemented a new type of importer for API with different pages.
The first website I have indexed with this API format is https://untalent.org/jobs
From indiehacker @Khodl
Untalent.org allows Vabiso to have several jobs in countries where until now we had almost no jobs.

August 23, 2020 Vabiso, now it indexes remote jobs.

We have https://vabiso.com/search as the main search engine with the map.

And https://vabiso.com/remote for remote jobs where your location doesn't matter.

I'm basically importing remote jobs from two websites at the moment.
The first one is Remoteok.io (which belongs to @levelsio) and the second one is Remotive.io

In the not too distant future I will be adding more imports from other sites. I have found many of them.

August 17, 2020 New frontend and landing page

I spent the whole weekend redoing the whole frontend of Vabiso.com

Now it looks much more like a real project. I created a landing page in the home page, and the map is now much more attractive and with a better responsive version.

I have also included a page where you can see the prices of the service.
The idea is to have a free part, and a paid part to cover costs.

August 3, 2020 MVP Finished

After working with this for several weekends, and luckily being able to recycle much of the code from other projects ...
I have launched a minimal functional indexing and search engine product.

Now we just have to wait for user feedback and see if the project is useful for people. If there is a good reception, then the next step is to introduce more features, some of them paid or advertised.
