New post about basing business decisions on data. (https://ventureby.design/base-your-decisions-on-data/) I'm also changing a few things about how I write content for the site. New posts are going to be leaner and more focused. And moving forward I aim to publish on a weekly basis. Long-term this should be really good for SEO, and of course consistency is key to any content creation strategy : )
The third issue of Venture by Design is about the importance of talking with your users, regardless of your industry. This is a tenet of design methodology—one that every entrepreneur stands to benefit from. Check it out, and subscribe for free if you enjoy these posts!
In August, I wrote and published issue no.2 of Venture by Design. This post brought in several new subscribers and offered an opportunity to share the blog's first truly valuable content following the inaugural post. Prior to publishing, I received feedback from peers who helped me refine the messaging. I'm quite proud of the level of quality in this post and look forward to delivering more quality content to subscribers!
In June 2020, I launched the Venture by Design blog using the Ghost publishing platform, with a commitment to writing valuable content based on the "less, but better" methodology. I used a theme by Fueko with modified front-end code to align with my branding. The inaugural post was published and I was well-received by a small circle on social media.
I had the idea for Venture by Design after talking with a friend about the state of the technology industry. We were discussing how despite many great strides, we felt that individual domains were becoming increasingly siloed.
This led to the idea to break the knowledge bubble that exists in the design industry, and try to elevate design methodology to anyone who can benefit!
Venture by Design is motivated by my desire to break the knowledge bubble in the design industry. It's about extrapolating insights from creative minds around the world to elevate design methodology to everyone.
