Violet has partnered with Facebook to power Checkout on Instagram. Through this partnership we enable merchants to publish products from their existing stores into Instagram, and receive orders in their existing systems when shoppers purchases their items in Instagram. From the merchants perspective, the experience is no different than if a shopper had purchased the item directly from the merchants store. This is accomplished using our headless commerce API that enables completely native checkout in any environment.
As a very small team, seeing our logo on the platform partners screen alongside publicly traded companies is a pretty great feeling.
Violet is one of 26 startups that have been accepted into the 4th cohort of the Washington Technology Industry Association founder program. The Founder Cohort supports Washington State based startups in developing venture-scale companies over the course of a year.
