Welcome emails: 86.3% open rate, 46% click rate

By adding a video to the "welcome" email for new Beta subscribers we've managed to achieve 86.3% open rate.
But what's more exciting is the click rate (46%) and the engagement rate on our video survey itself.
The beta video survey presented in our demo welcome flow achieved ~30% answer rate.
Then 50% of users clicked the CTA on a "Thank you" page.

Let's translate that into e-commerce use-case:
If the shop owner wants to collect feedback about new product, he would send an email to 1000 users.
- 460 customers would click the video survey
- 138 customers would leave a feedback [13,8% nice!]
- 69 customers would click the CTA with high buying intent (f.e. an up-sell offer) [6,9%]

Interesting. How did having a video in the email increase your email open rate? Did you mention it in the subject line or something?

Good question. We’ve tested adding
[video]to the title in other ecommerce „thank you email”, and it helped increasing it by ~10%.But here, it’s just good timing and short title.

Got it, thanks for the info @marcinem ! Another question for you. In your welcome email, you got a 46% CTR - did you just tell me people that there was a video survey they could take and then link them to it? Or was there a button? Basically I'm wondering how the email was set up and what they were clicking on.
I'm asking because I'd like to feature this as a Growth Bite
