14 Paying Customers

So far 14 indie founders have signed up after we turned on payments for Founders' Club.

The price increases as more people sign up, so the latest couple signups have payed $80/year while the first few only payed $60.

The service gets more powerful and useful the more people sign up, so we increase the price to reflect that.

The next 50 signups get the $80/year price point, once those seats are filled we'll bump up to $100/year.

At that point we're considering adding a monthly option.

Interesting pricing strategy. Has it had an impact on sales? Would love to know the numbers.

And will you keep doing this beyond the $100/yr mark or will it eventually stop increasing?

At or before the $100/yr mark I think I will add a monthly payment option. The more founders who are participating the more powerful and valuable the service becomes.

As far as conversion %, I don't have much analytics installed, but it seems to be a bit under 1%. Hard to say if the pricing scheme is helping to convert or not, not enough data.

Makes sense - thanks for the response!
