Dashboard for a healthy and productive workday.

This is a major update for the UI of the app. Now you can completely customize your daily dashboard. You can pick and choose which tools you want on your dashboard and rearrange them to your liking.
This update also makes it possible to add more widgets to the app in a sustainable way.
Now my plan is to keep adding more useful widgets based on user input, invest more into marketing the product and add more integrations with other platforms like Notion and Google calendar.
Got my first paid customer! And that point I haven't invested in marketing that much. My marketing strategy was posting on relevant Reddit subs once in a while.
This is a good validation sign that this app solves a problem and people will find it useful.
Gave me the motivation to keep going!
After iterating on the product more and adding other features like scheduled breaks, mood tracker, water tracker, scenic backgrounds, etc. I posted on Reddit once again and got some more positive feedback and drove some traffic. At the moment of writing, YourTrail has 300 signups. At this point, the app is still free.
Also, someone blogged about my app on makeuseof: https://www.makeuseof.com/day-planner-tools-focus-on-critical-daily-goals/
Still in the process of gathering more feedback, iterating on the features, and figuring out the general direction that I should take with this product.
Finished the very basic version of the product and posted it on Reddit. I got overall positive feedback as well as some constructive criticism that helped in guiding my next steps: https://www.reddit.com/r/SideProject/comments/pjms4p/yourtrail_simple_dashboard_to_make_the_most_of/
One of the biggest insights was that people want to be able to see the history of their activity so I added timeline after that.
As a long-time remote worker who sits at the desk all day, I often research ways to make my workday both productive and healthy. I also look for ways to have a clear work/home separation, which can be tricky for someone working from home. The need for a tool like that grew, even more, when the pandemic hit.
I'm a huge fan of journaling and practicing daily gratitude as well as timeboxing my time for better productivity, so I incorporated these tools into YouTrail.
As I kept working on it, I kept adding tools that I'd like to use during my workday, like a water tracker, automated reminders to take healthy breaks, a mood tracker & others.
As a result, I've built something I use on a daily basis and can see my workdays being more intentional and feel more present!
