The biggest week for us by far. I'm not sure what it was, we added a chat bubble to the site, maybe that had something to do with it? I'm not sure but I'm super stoked :)
Gotta figure how to keep this momentum moving. I want to get paypal as a payment option and I'm still working on the app that will come out in the fall. Hoping for lots of new members that way.
I feel so stupid cause just yesterday I was thinking "I spent all this time and built this site and freaking no one is going to use this thing..." but low and behold I was an IDOIT!
I teach on a few courses on LinkedIn and someone thanked me for a course. I asked if he wanted to learn more and sent him a link to my site and 5 minutes later DING DING DING!
Ah so pumped. Such a great feeling. Tonight, the Lil' Ceas Hot-n-Ready is on me!
Took way longer than I thought it would as I had only planned on monthly and yearly plans to be going through but wanted people to be able to choose a variety of prices from like $5 a month to $45. Anyways, it's working now on both the home page and pricing page.

Finding it hard to commit to this full time...I want to see this work but I know in short term it will bring in less money and long term, it hopefully will be more but hard to know.
I've had an idea for a YouTube show forever in my head but finally filmed it yesterday :) Gonna edit and hopefully post today or tomorrow. Originally I was just gonna show the first couple of episodes with people close to me but I've been watching those startup school videos and they keep saying launch so I'm just gonna put it out there. I'll post the link here soon!
I realized what gets me excited and what I day dream about is creating a custom solution that I get to build from the ground up. I wanna get messy with the code. I decided maybe it's not the most efficient way but if I want this thing to being fun for customers, it's gotta be fun for me :)
I currently use teachable to host my course content. It's been working ok but is $100 a month. More than that though there are some custom things I want to do that I can't with teachable. I'm wondering if it's worth doing my own. The developer part of me really wants to but the business side of me realizes this could take a lot of time :) Any thoughts?
I did a giveaway and as part of it I said that if you got a free membership (free for the first month and then $25 after that) on my site you'd get 5 extra entries. I got 13 people to sign up. I have a month to do all I can to convince these 13 people that staying on board is the right choice!
I've been wanting to make a membership site for learning for a long time now but I am finally doing it :) I'm considering today my Starting point. I have $155 MRR and my goal is to grow it to $10,000 a month in one year. To get there I'm going to try and grow 10% a week. We'll see if that's too crazy :)
