Hard Worker. Operator. Levitator. Building self-sustaining businesses.
I do the stuff that no one wants to do when building a biz. I clear the plates for the creatives, so that they can focus on what they love doing and what they do best...
Goldman Sachs alum who spent 4 years in investment management in Silicon Valley. I have done due diligence on 100+ private investments made in start-ups and have spent a large part of my career focused on managing ones financial well being. I developed a strong analytical and operational background from that role.
In early 2017, I helped start an RIA in SF named Jordan Park with my fellow Goldman Sachs team members, acting as the interim-CTO - where I was in-charge of building out the technology infrastructure. This included designing the interface and client reports/portals. I spent a large part of my time there focused on building out operational procedures across the firm with the acting COO. I rolled off after a year to focus full-time on my own biz..cue Mater Product Studio.
In late 2017, my best friend and I co-founded Matter Product Studio, a start-up studio and tech consulting agency - hence Product Studio... The Studio - a place where we could continue to perfect our playbook of building our own technology products and bizs - bootstrapping all of it and focusing on bizs that create revenue from the start. The Agency - applying that playbook to external clients who need tech product help.
We have found that the agency is a place that attracts the top independent contractors (or creatives, as I like to say) to work with us. It is designed such that the creative can plug in and do what they do best... build/design cool shit without all the other headaches, i.e. chasing invoices, dealing with clients, on-boarding on shitty tech platforms, dealing with minuscule mindless tasks, the list goes on.
