Before I joined this community, I always felt everyone thought I was stupid for wanting to be an entrepreneur.
I don’t usually care what people think of me, but for some reason I always self doubted myself, especially after my first startup failed a year ago.
However, now that I am here and learning to get better everyday I am as motivated as ever to succeed and build something great.
So thank you for being so amazing!

If you think about it, when you start as an entrepreneur your chance of success is the lowest as you don't know all the mistakes to avoid. So every time you fail, you are steday decreasing your chance of failure and increasing your chance of success. Of course this also depends on teh mistake and market, but u know what I mean.
I totally agree! I feel more confident this time around and I’ll feel every more confident the next time.

I want to challenge you to not look at your other company as a failure. You learned from it, and that experience has accelerated your drive to build up more skills before you go for your next venture.
(this is the mindset I've learned to adopt an tell myself...because my first company didn't go according to plan just like yours!)

I've left my job and have been around since a few weeks now. I learned so much thanks to IH that it's amazing; and really motivating as you said. I still don't have anything to show or discuss (still baking in my mind) but one day, it will come, and IH will be the first to know! ;-)

I still feel like we're stupid to put ourselves through this sometimes but at least we have an amazing group of people to do it with, bounce ideas off, be inspired by and get support from. What's really stupid is to not even try to battle through the hard times in order to live up to your full potential. Long before entrepreneurship there were entrepreneurial people who put themselves in dangers way to build a better world because they had the audacity to believe they could. I'm talking since the dawn of time. This spirit is ancient and it's what built the world we have today. Everything outside of the grass and how you feel about it is something we humans built. It took a whole lot of risk, pain, trauma, glory, and hard fought wins to get the world to this point. The question is which direction do you want to help take it from here?
This is a great perspective James! Behind every company big or small, there was someone brave enough to start it. Being one of those people for me is worth all the risks I may have to take to finally get it right once.

Hey Thomas! I could not agree more.
I have actually always worked for startups because I absolutely love the autonomy I get working for them. While I never have had the experience working for an enterprise I talk to friends who are miserable there. Funny enough though, working for a startup is still not enough to satisfy my itch of building my own thing and making it work!
I have always been a dreamer, but I still am somewhat risk averse which isn’t always bad but this community is definitely helping me become more confident that I can succeed and making me less worried about the potential failure.
