I'm a serial entrepreneur who went from running a funded 7 person company to now only bootstrapping companies and projects. I do consulting work to pay the bills and fund my ideas.

What I like about IH is it's full of other people who've figured out how to make it work as a solo or small team without investment. I think you can be much more successful and happy in life as a whole if you can successfully run a small, bootstrapped company that doesn't take up all your time and allows you the freedom to do what you want. It's inspiring to see how other people did it, and how well they are actually doing.
