Most software projects go smoothly for the first 80%. The real test happens at the messy edge cases - the stubborn, long-standing bugs and accumulated technical debt that development teams tend to leave in the "too hard" basket. That last 20% is where I do my best work.

I approach software engineering from a thoroughly practical perspective. Having built a multi-service application from scratch and worked inside highly regulated, high-stakes environments like finance, legal, and enterprise retail, I’ve learned that a broad toolset is required to solve deep system bottlenecks.
