Got into this because the data infrastructure in private markets is embarrassingly gatekept. PitchBook charges $30K/yr. Bloomberg is six figures. Meanwhile the people actually writing checks at pre-seed and seed are working off Twitter threads and warm intros. That felt like a problem worth solving.

I like building things that make information accessible to people who couldn't afford it before. That's basically the whole thesis behind everything I work on.
