Growing up, my father and I had a ritual. Every Sunday evening, we'd set up the chessboard on our worn kitchen table, and he'd challenge me to "just one more game." Those matches taught me more than strategy; they taught me patience, foresight, and the quiet joy of focused competition. Years later, when he moved across the country, we struggled to maintain that connection. That's when I realized: these timeless games deserved a home online where anyone could play, anytime, anywhere.
