Thrifting is socially accepted. Renting is normalised. “De-influencing” is trending; ownership feels less important than access.
I think this behaviour is deeper than a temporary trend.
Gen Z grew up during economic uncertainty, climate anxiety, subscription culture rapid trend cycles. Circular eco was much needed.
