Hi, I’m Erik, a UX designer and entrepreneur from Amsterdam. Since 2007, I’ve led De Monsters, building digital products like 123ZING, the leading music education platform for Dutch primary schools (800K+ users), and Rammstein’s official website. This year, I’m launching Stringtale, a tool that simplifies static text management in React and Next.js projects. I’m passionate about creating products that make work easier for designers and developers by solving real-world frustrations.

Stringtale

After years of dealing with the hassle of managing static text in web applications, I created Stringtale, a tool that simplifies static text management in React and Next.js projects. Stringtale lets non-developers edit text directly in the test environment. Stringtale automatically converts changes into merge requests. This keeps the codebase as the single source of truth, avoiding extra systems or complex workarounds. Stringtale eliminates the friction of managing static text, letting non-developers edit content while developers stay in control.
