Anybody want to join a Solo Founders Slack group?
I've been a member of a Slack group for Solo Founders for about a month now, and it's been great. I check it out every day and there's usually interesting articles or discussions. Plus, it's always nice to be able to talk to other Solo Founders and get support, design feedback, product ideas, etcetera.
Some recent examples of topics we talk about:
- feedback on a pitch deck
- feedback on a blog post
- which hosting provider to use for what
- the best places to launch your product (hint - it's everywhere!)
We also maintain a spreadsheet with the websites we're working, where we are based, etcetera, so hopefully people can meetup if they're in the same city or product niche!
If you'd like to join, comment here with an email or something of the sort so that I can invite you (I would say to message me, but I don't think there's direct messages yet - you can reach out to me at kravinskylev at gmail if you don't want to leave your email here).
P.S. @csallen, have you thought about starting an official IndieHackers Slack group? I know this forum is the "community" area for IndieHackers, but a Slack group would be nice for instant communication - conversations on here have a much slower pace. I would even pay $1-3/month for access if the community had 100+ people and posted interesting content!
@levthedev: I'm already part of this Slack group. 😝 I joined about 3 weeks ago, although I haven't checked it very often. I'm planning to do a chat room for Indie Hackers eventually, but it will be at least a month or two. Want to make sure I get it right and don't rush into it.
That's funny, I didn't even know! Small world 😊
I am definitely interested on such a community for IH, but I would like it to be a moderated community, with only people who have already something in the works and are serious about having it make revenue on the side. As for your group, I would love to try it out. gabriel@koipun.com
Invited! And yes, I also would love if it was moderated. I would even be willing to moderate it 😉
