Meta - Am i the only one suddenly getting a lot of followers on indie hackers?
I Noticed this a few days ago where i suddenly gained like 10 new followers.
And today i logged on and i'm well above 100 new followers within two days?
Are we getting a botting problem on Indiehackers or am i somehow famous all of sudden?
Recommending people to follow is now part of the IH onboarding process. The best way to get recommended is to make quality posts on the new following feed. I'll make this more clear in the near future.

My 'following feed' only shows my own posts now. Before it showed posts of people I followed.
Update.
I just got two new followers, both joined <5 minutes ago.
Both are currently following 20-30 people all who seem to be more active users here.
I wonder what the agenda is, possibly create the accounts now and hope that indiehackers gets more popular so they can sell them in the future? Or possibly vote manipulation.
You're just a quality guy...why can't you accept that??

That's because the recommendation algorithm only pays attention to posts made on the new following and hashtag feeds. Hopefully soon I'll merge those types of posts and forum threads into a single entity.
