Ask IH: Best practices, tools, and services for creating awesome demo videos

Hello IndieHackers!

I'm working on revamping the marketing for my business (http://SuiteSync.io/). I've recorded some really rough demo videos (ex: http://suitesync.io/subscriptions-demo) describing the workflows the product supports, and I'd like to take them to the next level.

I'm curious if the IH community has any recommendations on best practices, tools, or services to keep in mind when revamping these demo videos. I haven't seen any great demo videos to learn from (i.e. videos that walk users through the product in a semi-detailed way, not a generic marketing video)—if anyone has recommendations there, that would be super helpful as well!
