No, chat doesn't make sense for the type of project I'm working on (weekly newsletter in its infancy). Personally I'm sick and tired of seeing a chat widget that's turns out to be a glorified contact form or search widget.
Indeed, you probably do not need this for your app. Otherwise, os there interaction between your app users?
