How do you approach graphic design?

What resources do you use to source graphic design? Also, what SW applications do you find useful?

Logos, stock photos, vectors, inspiration etc.

Typically I find myself browsing company blogs, searching inspirational company webpages and scanning Pinterest (really good for graphic design!). The Adobe Suite is my go-to SW.
