I just shipped my latest side project: a curated list of independent sportswear brands!
I have been meaning to ship this for the best part of a year and recently decided to finish it off and make it live after being inspired by the recent PH makers festival and the 24H startup challenge.
After years of being let down by generic, substandard sportswear products I decided to try and find alternative brands that could fulfil my requirements. After scouring the internet, magazines, blogs and asking friends I was still no further forward and kept coming back to the same big brands.
Over the years I managed to find some incredible brands that aligned with my technical needs, values and ethos as brands. So I added all these brands into my Evernote list and continued to build this list of brands and share it with friends. Now I want to share this list and eventually house all these brands under one site.
Currently, I have no plans to monetise, it's just a list of hand-selected online brands.
