this product
Hey IH, I'm building a standup automation tool for software developers called Intuition. I would be awesome if you could critique it. I'm most curious about:
- Do you understand the value of the product?
- Do the demos/mockups make sense and help you understand the product?
- Can you figure out how to sign up?
- Any other feedback you might have (colors, domain name, language, etc.)
Thanks in advance!
You are asking the right questions above.

YES
See below:
You may want to move this up:
"Less Meeting. More Coding"
followed by
"Automated Standups For Software Teams"
You might want to reduce the text and move it third:
"Stop waiting until tomorrow's daily meeting to know what's happening with the rest of your team. Get daily digests of GitHub activity in your inbox, with more integrations coming soon. Discover big wins, stubborn blockers and points for collaboration."
possibly:
"Do not rely on daily meetings for team status. Improve productivity with daily digests of GitHub activity delivered to you."
Declutter the hero background image perhaps to make it look less busy?
Sign-in and Sign-up with Github point to same page. How can you make it simpler?
Thanks! Glad it's clear at least.
I like the phrase "Less meeting. More coding." at the top. I had played around with it but with the hero image I couldn't fit that buzz headline and my value prop all at the top. But I do agree on the hero image, it is kind of just busy nonsense at the moment. Might be better to just drop it and use that whole area for headlines and a CTA.
I like the shortened version you gave (always appreciate some good free work haha). Definitely better than what I've got.
The dual sign up/sign in buttons are mostly to play into how people expect a landing page to work and are definitely redundant in terms of functionality at the moment (they just go through the GH oauth flow).
It sounds like it looks at all GitHub commits and sends a team a summary of them.
I see the value. At a past company, we had a weekly summary tool to explain what we worked on, and had some simple tools to add commit lists to it.
I didn't sign up, but it looks like you just connect your GitHub account and it will have access to do what it needs to.
The text is a little bit dense. I'm a tech, not a marketer, so not sure if this would be beneficial or not: Try an experiment where you take each paragraph on the page and convert it to one sentence. Something like "<Know what happened|Improve team efficiency and communication|Iterate faster|...> with <Organized daily updates|Automated status reports|...>". Or maybe allow more density as a visitor scrolls down. So catch their eye, catch their attention, then explain more.
I can see the value of this if I were still working on a team. One potential issue would be trust - am I giving this app full access to a proprietary code base so it can provide the summary?
Good luck :)
Thanks for the feedback. I think you are probably right on the density of text. I tend to be pretty verbose :P
I cover some of the trust/security issues on the FAQ page but I've gotten feedback from other people that they were a little iffy about connecting their GitHub so it makes sense to bump that up to the landing page.
