How "old" is my startup? When do I date from?
Due to a long story, I graduated from Founder Institute in August 2014 but put my startup on hold for nearly two years whilst working at Realm. When I'm applying for competitions or talking about the startup, should I date the "age" of it from the incorporation date or the first product release (this month)?
I'd say 4 years old. If you say it's just new but there is a history of it online from before your hiatus it would look weird.
Until you hit product market fit it's always week 1.
