Just launched a small desktop app -- SwitchBlade -- feedback wanted
Hey All,
Looking for some feedback on a small Windows desktop application I just soft-launched. The tool is named SwitchBlade (https://switchbladeapp.com), and it provides a quick way to access all your open windows on Windows. Basically, you press a configurable global hotkey, and a blade appears at the top of the screen, allowing you to quickly search the titles of open windows, select them, and switch to them. Think of it as a fast alternative to Alt-Tab. I view this as an additional tool to use alongside Alt-Tab, not a replacement.
This was a scratch-my-own-itch idea, so I’m interested to see if anyone else finds it useful.
I’m hoping for feedback on the website, the product itself, the pricing/trial model, and anything else you think I should hear. Particularly interested in feedback from those who have launched successful desktop applications. Marketing a tool like this is very challenging, so any ideas related to that would be useful as well.

I'm a big fan of not leaving the keyboard to interact with windows. Currently I'm using a shortcut key combinations I setup with hammerspoon to open certain application and focus their windows. For everything else I use spotlight. This seem to be a bit of spotlight on steriods for apps switching 👍🏼
Nice! Yeah, that's basically the idea. Small amounts of time saved. Less mouse = less wasted time.
