How do you think about this?

Hi there,

My name is Robert Ligthart, a student and freelance UI/UX designer from The Netherlands. Besides my study and my freelance work I really like to build digital products.

Currently, I am working on a project called 24hshoedrops. This project This project will be focused on helping people/businesses to sell, buy or trade their (rare) shoes easily for a fair price in 24 hours. http://24hshoedrops.com/

This project is really early stage, and I am just looking around how people think about this. I would love to know your critical thoughts. :)

Also, if you are interested to be a part of this project. I am looking for developers to make the design to live products!

Good idea Robert, not sure how it will work. I would recommend adding a Donate feature to drive traffic as well as supporting a social cause.. Thanks.

Thanks hari! I don't know a donate feature would work tbh. I think we have to invest in marketing to generate leads. After that, we will earn money by taking a small percentage of each shoe sale.

Not to discourage you, but you should know you'll be competing against at least one venture-backed company: https://www.justflip.com

On the bright side this means that other people should have already validated this idea for you!

That's always difficult to measure, but we think there is definetely a market for this. And this project isn't only focused on rare shoes, but shoes in general.
