Would you pay for temporary bag storage service
I was thinking of building an app where users can order a storage bell hop to come pick up your bag and bring it back too you at some point later as a service. Would any one use this ? And thought or opinions ? Thanks
This is mainly implemented as coin operated lockers where ive seen it be successful. You see it all throughout Japan in major metropolitan areas. Particularly near or inside train stations.
People showing up from an app isn't something I would feel comfortable with personally, but thnn again I'm overly protective of my stuff compared to everyone I know.
I use services like this at airports and hotels fairly regularly and they are pretty much ubiquitous at both types of locations. I don't see any situation where I'd want someone to come take my bags and bring them back later that didn't involve a flight or needing to checkin/out of a hotel early so I probably wouldn't ever use a separate service for this.
Who do you picture as your clients? What situations do you see them needing this?
Idk I’m a coder have my backpack with me a lot and it’s annoying to carry around after work is over haha
Would you trust your laptop with a stranger that shows up from an app on your phone? As another coder the code and data on my laptop is worth way too much for me to risk that let alone the replacement cost of a MBP.
