Got into crypto day trading by accident - built a trading intelligence app as a result
Hello all,
Long story short, I first bought bitcoin because I wanted to have some kind of money available after a night of heavy drinking where I may or may not wake up with my wallet. Little did I realize that an entire world of cryptocurrency, day trading, and financial analysis came attached with this purchase.
Fast forward to several months later, having read up extensively on chart analysis, currency fluctuations, and cryptos, I found myself constantly glued to my phone / computer screen, waiting for patterns to emerge, trying to time the perfect trade.
What started as writing a few small, piecemeal scripts to automate my trading schedule eventually culminated in Bear Arena (www.beararena.com). Instead of constantly checking exchange charts for technical pattterns, I decided to bootstrap together a trading intelligence platform to check for ~150 patterns on ~100 exchanges; should a pattern of interest surface, an email consisting of a chart (thank you matplotlib :) ), a description of the pattern, and a link to the exchange on which it was found is sent.
I'm inching towards my beta launch date, but I wanted to get some feedback from you guys on the landing page, concept, etc.
