PMLesson - Interactive product management interview practice & coaching | Product Hunt
Hi IH!
We launched today on ProductHunt and are seeing a small icon saying "Featured in 6 Hours" (midnight). Our team is confused about what this means. Does this mean we should wait to publicize our launch until we're featured? Or should we be publicizing more now?
Any help/guidance would be incredible - we realize this is probably a good sign :)
Means you posted late in the day (after 11am SF time, iirc), thus they push you to the next day for more exposure.
Humm, it's interesting, so it means you don't have to wait until "midnight" to launch your product anymore, Is that? Can you launch your product anytime in the afternoon and it will be published at the first time the next day?
I reckon there are a few more factors in play…
“(…)We tend to stop featuring new products for the day around 11am PST — if something posted after that time gets featured, we’ll bump it to the next day to ensure it doesn’t get buried. There is no “magic” time to post, but it’s best practice to do it before 9am PT so there’s enough time in the day for people to discover and discuss your latest creation.” from https://blog.producthunt.com/how-to-launch-on-product-hunt-7c1843e06399
