IDEA: Map all the coworking spaces Yelp-Style (looking for collaboraters)
Idea is as described! looking for anyone that might be interested in working on this 'side project' together! I'm a UX designer so would be happy to work with anything in marketing & technical expertise!

Here is an app called Workfrom (https://workfrom.co/) that I ocassionally use when travel. The filters and UI could be better. The main issue there is to keep up with all the new places that are poping out and with so many digital nomads around most good places are very busy. It would be cool to have real-time data on how many desks/chairs are free :)
this looks pretty awesome thanks!! Just curious how has your experiences been hopping in and out of these spaces? Do you ever meet people at the locations or you're mostly just focusing on having a place to get work done
The app has (obviously?) lot of paid workspaces.. so when you filter out paid co-working then the options are more reduced, I found out that you need to see pictures of the places, because "lot of room" may mean different things to different people, also if you go somewhere on Sunday morning, it will be likely empty, where in the afternoon it will be pretty packed, so from the pictures you can asses how big the place is, how big their food/coffee counter is and how fast may the crowd turn around even if there is no available space when you walk in..
that's a good point — like google maps or foursquare will show a 'popular hours' chart that'll be useful!
Why would there be a map? Aren’t there spaces something you look for once and once you sign up u don’t anymore?
because the spaces would be your daily commute / office pretty much. So finding the right space on a map instead of a long list can be useful I think
definitely.. when you are in a new/foreign city you do not know the street names or areas.. you look at where you are (dot on the map) and pins around you, based on filters ie open now, broadband, electric plugs etc..
