Ask IH: What is your hiring process?
Hello everyone!
I am considering the option of hiring a full-time remote dev but I don't have much info on how to go about it. I would like to know how indie hackers with small to medium-sized companies hire remote developers. What is your process? How long does it take? Is the process tedious? What are the 'gotchas' (especially for remote devs)? How do I attract good talent?

I’ve found some success in approaching local colleges and boot camp instructors for recommendations. Instructors want to see their students succeed, and so are willing to help out.
