Do you offer location-based discounts? We want to feature you on our website
@eduard_chilcos & I started https://www.pppmakers.com to showcase makers offering location-based discounts. We got very positive feedback on Twitter (https://twitter.com/NechitaGabriel/status/1027120403842564096), and we want to share it now with the IH community.
Not everyone lives in a country with great purchasing power, so we wanted to help people from emerging & developing countries get access to resources made more affordable for them.
Currently we only have courses listed, but we really want to showcase other types of products as well. The filtering choices on the website will accommodate any type of product.
We would also like to convince more makers to take into account Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) and the weight it carries, because they might drive more sales by doing it.
For some people, a 30-40% discount is the difference between buying the product or looking for it on torrent sites. We appreciate that makers work hard on their products, and giving out discounts might mean less money/customer. However, offering a discount for the person that needs it, might translate into an extra sale and free marketing from a delighted customer through social media.
