Is Anyone In Need Of Simple in Use Accounting App? Currencies, Insights, Simple UI.

I need a little help with my app.

I made this new tool called FinnApp. Here’s the problem I had, and the solution I thought of:

🤔 Problem The problem is that every time I travel to different countries I have to deal with different currencies, and often it’s safer to use cash, let’s say in Asian countries. Moreover, many travel destinations still do not accept card payments or have certain problems with it. So very often I’m confused with new currencies for me, and it’s hard to understand how did I spend on food, coffee, even rent if I pay with local currency in cash, but count money let’s say in USD or any other major currencies like EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, etc.

🛠 Solution So I wanted a tool where I can simply add expenses in a local currency and after that see a list of expenses in the currency that I understand well.

Also, I wanted to see the difference between my earnings and expenses to understand if I’m doing well regarding finances. Do I need to make more money or cut expenses that are not really necessary in my life?

It’s all started with a list of earnings and expenses, two major numbers that say how much did I spend and earn during the current month, but after that I decided to extend it and add visual reports where I can see visually my spendings by categories in a pie chart with a clear legend, settings to manage currencies and tags in a proper way.

It worked pretty much well for me and right now helps me to track my finances. I do know how much money I spent and earned during the past year. I can even check how it is related to locations I’ve been to. Basically, I can now understand the cost of living on my own example and compare it month to month, how it depends on locations, stuff I buy, etc.

So I decided to try making it public and built this public version that everyone can try. It doesn’t require any credit details at first side. You can just create an account within 2-5 minutes, try to play around with it and then decided if it’s useful to you or you have any cool suggestions for improvements.
