suggestions for finding a mechanical/electrical engineer near me (Seattle)

I know code, but I don't know how to make a prototype of a physical device (which is driven by code, but which is mainly a physical device). The device would be small (like less than 1 cubic inch). It involves some airflow monitoring and a mechanism to open/close a small valve. I'm hoping to find someone who thinks it would be fun to iterate on some designs to see if they work, with an eventual goal of sharing any profits that come from it. I don't know where to look for such a person. Craigslist? Other ideas?
