Hey there,
I've been tinkering with online courses and tutorials and such for a while. The goal has been to use those as a vehicle to get to a live coaching program.
I was speaking with a friend about these plans, and he said why don't you just cut to the chase, and build that instead of classes/tutorials, etc. So, I did.
Book a 20 minute call with me to learn the secrets that accelerate productivity of Creative Professionals using a Mac.
I built this with zero code, and zero dollars (I had already purchased Carrd.co). Here's how I did it: http://chadmoore.net/2017/12/10/side-hustle.html
I'd like any feedback you might have. I think I'm going to have the problem of attracting users, but I'd have that with the tutorials and classes as well. Hopefully word-of-mouth will be a good acquisition model.
Hey Chad! Congrats on making something. Here is some feedback:
At first, I didn't know what to think of this. Then, I watched your explainer video and it showed the real value. I'd suggest leading with the video and something that really states what you're selling... Time savings.
I strongly suggest converting this to an eBook or mini course. You can sell an infinite amount and it's not directly related to your time. Plus, users don't want to wait for the info. They want it now. Sell it to them while they are ready to buy. Unless you're trying to upsell them something else, there is no reason for a live phone call to teach this.
I'd also keep focusing on creating free tutorials. Make YouTube videos, blog posts, infographics and promote them. These free tutorials would give away your top 5 tips and include a link that offers your book/course for $20.
Good luck!
