Ranking on Google first page of search results
A few months ago I wrote a piece of why I switched from Webflow to WordPress for blogging. After not looking at my analytics for a couple of months, I looked at it a couple days ago and saw that my piece is ranking on the first page for keywords searches such as:
- Webflow vs WordPress
- WordPress vs Webflow
- Webflow vs WordPress 2018
etc..
And I thought I'd share my insights on how I believe I got ranked on the first page. Will probably be a few articles but here's the first one. Let me know if you got any questions or even tips!

Thank you Suhas. So I use Google Trends(https://trends.google.com/trends/) and I also used just used Google search field. Type in a word of the topic you want to cover and see whats the top auto suggested advice. Also https://adwords.google.com/aw/keywordplanner/
There are other paid services you can use such as Keyword Tool or SemRush that might be worth to invest.

Nice! I wrote three blog articles before realizing how important Google keywords are. I'll definitely be keeping this in mind before writing my next piece!
Just took a quick look at your site and it seems when I click on "read" on one of your blog articles it doesn't fire another google event. You might want to fix that. Are your blog posts just pop ups or do they have their own web page url?
Also on mobile I can't click the read more button :)
They're supposed to be Bootstrap modals, but that has always been a temporary solution that has gone on a bit longer than expected :) I do want to convert them to their own web pages once I get around to it.
