Fundraising: A Conversation With Myself

Really enjoyed this thanks! Good to know I'm not the only one going through an internal debate of whether fundraising is the right thing to do.

Taking investment almost feels like conceding in some regards, a bootstrapped business to profitability sounds surely more promising.

In my position I'm approaching as far as I can go on my own and running out of personal finances half way to launch, I've tried bootstrapping first but I think an attempt at fundraising is the next sensible option.

I'm just concerned that investors may be more interested in the liquidity of their investment (driving for more fundraising and rocket ship growth) than in developing the product, the understanding of the customer and reaching profitability of the business as soon as possible.
