I had built a skill for Alexa recently for a hackathon.
It deals with phonetics of letters. Every letter has a sound, so this skill replies a sound when you ask for it.
Person : Whats the sound of B?
Alexa : The sound of B is "B"(a phonetics sound is said), as in B for Ball.
I really had fun doing this.

I am developing a website where I need to record the user's speech and then analyze it. I haven't yet started on the voice side but would like to discuss possible solutions.
I'm working on a voice related project using Amazon Lex and Polly for my day job. We're just starting out with the project and will be actively working on it for the next few months.

Maybe. I have a few projects in the pipeline I need to finish. Once I have the experience from my day job I may think of new project that incorporates it.
I'm also looking into VR/AR/MR. I get my headset in today, so I'm hoping to use for a project in a few months.
May I know which AR/VR headset did you buy? and from where?

Dillon I'm building a brand, ConvoPanda, focused on conversational interfaces for B2B internet companies.
We're building the community of B2B professionals interested in the topic in the process. The first step is creating content and community around using chatbots for lead generation.
I'm interested in voicebots for ConvoPanda but don't have bandwidth yet to pursue. On a personal level I would be interested in learning more about them today.
