I honestly hate these kind of articles. Without context, the "mistake" is useless. I'm pretty sure that, if I contact at random, 5 different companies, at least 1 would tell me the opposite, that their mistake was "being product, not sales driven."
I'd appreciate if such articles focused on what the product did / what THEIR mistake were, but trying to generalize that as an advice (which the author does in parts of the article) is dangerous IMO.
