As our team and website continues to grow, I'm realizing how many services we're plugging into in this point. Just a small slice:
Do founders here ever get overwhelmed and forget about the various services they're plugged into? Is there a good way to track all of these? Some of them are paid, some of them are free trials, etc.
Would love to hear your thoughts!
In general it's great being able to outsource discrete functions to services that can do that well. Back in the day you would have to run your own mail servers etc which was a pain.
The downside is application brittleness in APIs. Think everyone of these services update their offerings and APIs, it's inevitable that over time functionality will start to break, so there is continuous maintenance.
There is probably a gap for some product that gives you a single pain of glass over these services - shows you billing, usage and feature/API updates, though you would have to plugin a lot of services so it would be a big tool.
