Ask IH: What motivated you to create your own Startup?

Hey guys!

I've recently been working on my very own startup called LessonHop. It was a great first couple of months - getting all the gears into action with my Cofounder - but at the moment, it seems we may have lost that "fire". We're dreamers, but we also seek to execute them in reality - but we didn't see any progress. So a short introduction to our project: LessonHop. LessonHop basically serves as an Airbnb, but for education. We collect students and teachers together within our marketplace, so that locals can teach/learn with others nearby them. Our motivation was to see it spread like Airbnb did (again, we're dreamers), but we haven't gained any traction. We aren't going after money, but rather a vision: to see communities grow together and network together through our site.
Because we've lost the fire in our progress, I'm curious on what helped everyone else "keep their fire", partly because we need some inspiration :)
