An idea for transparent startups: Yay or Nay?

Hi IndieHackers!

A few months ago I applied for a position at PH. Didn't land the job but PH shared list with the top applicants they couldn't hire and I was on that list.
75 companies got the list and 5 companies reached out to me, which for me as a junior was huge!

This is a question preferably for founders of transparent startups for obvious reasons:

Have you ever shared a list of your top applicants also? Would you?

Do you think there is a place for a platform where startups can share the top applicants they unfortunately could not hire, in order to help out fellow startups as well as their applicants?

Thanks in advance for your time and thoughts! It means a lot. :)

I think there is. People have this tendency to be scared about sharing information because they think they will lose out if they do. More and more there is a trend towards transparency, just look at indie hackers as an example!!! GaryVee is a great example of transparency working for rather than against as well. Open source software is proving to be a winning strategy in the long term. I think transparency in businesses will help the market become more efficient because agents acting in the system have more and higher quality feedback, so I see opportunity for economic growth there.

I have my own ideas around a business for this too. We're you thinking of starting something?
