I acquired a blog with content and email list. What to do now? :)
Hi IH'ers, I acquired a blog focussed on mothers. With 1000 articles and a 5k list. It's has good pagerank and history. I'm figuring out what to build on it (target audience will be the same). How would you approach this?Not asking for what to build but rather how to think about what to build. Thanks!
Figure out what you want to improve.
Do you want to improve it technically: faster page speed, image optimization, better on page seo?
Rank better so that you increase traffic to the site?
Do you want to monetize it better with ads, opt ins, or promos?
Do you want to be more involved with the audience to create a product for them or know what to offer them? Ask your list.
Is there someone you can partner with to create a product or event that's suited to your audience?
