Why are you building X when Y exists?

Wanted to share @pjrvs's post from the weekend in his Sunday Dispatched email.

I'm sure we've all had the thought - "Everything's been built"... there's nothing left to do, I'm always going to be in competition ... there's no point in building X, when Y already exists.

If you've ever been in that situation, or you're in it right now, then this is well worth a read... It's the slap across the face that you might need to get you going and instil confidence that it is worth doing what you're doing.
