Could use feedback for my new personal site

Hi Blake, here are my feedback:

• "Improve your site" button behaves awkward so I'd avoid hiding the content below and let the user scroll and keep it as a text instead of a button.
• I like the first 3 headers, very clear who you are, what you do and what this website is about.

Okay, I finally got home and was able to give your site a thorough once-over. Here are my thoughts and opinions:

1. I have a background in art and design. I've been doing it now for nearly 20 years (oh, dear God I'm old). There are sections of text that are highlighted by a background color. On those sections of text, at the beginning of the background color, there's no margin to the left of the text, but there's a significant margin at the end of the sentence. This BUGS me, but isn't necessarily a problem with the site.

2. The site use 2 different fonts. Not a problem, per se, but there are times where they look weird together. On the contact page, there's a section of serif text between 2 sections of san serif text. It just looks weird to me.

3. I think it's neat that the sections fade in. I like the animation. But it makes it very difficult to go back to previous portions of the site. Someone else commented that they thought this would work better as a "single page" site, and I'm inclined to agree. The sections could fade in as you scroll. That's easy enough to accomplish.

4. There's previous work up here, but the logos don't link to the sites. Is there a reason you for that?

5. And finally, under User Experience, the wording makes it sound like you're going to "fix" their site for $20. I know it's a small, knit-picky thing, but someone will try to take advantage of that wording. And it'll be a headache to be sure.

All of this is just opinion. Please take it with a grain of salt.

clicking on the down arrow takes me to http://domain.tld/path for some reason. Also, i think you want some social proof in the beginning so you can justify your pricing later (case studies/testimonials maybe).

Wanna say great start! A lot of potentials to turn this into something really stunning.

Turn it into a single page application. The less click-throughs that someone has to go through, the better in most cases.

I think you almost have the 'floating' divs down, but not just yet. I think you should use a proper CSS framework - not only can you use it for your site, but for clients as well. It's minimal but has a lot to offer and also comes with a react-component. Here's the link - https://www.renaissancecss.com/

Maybe have some use cases that contain screenshots, some copy about the creative and technical process you went too.

I say start with that - no need to make things to complicated. Simple is great and you have that. Keep at it!
