So, i finally launched, and now what?

Some days ago i posted about it: https://www.indiehackers.com/forum/im-finally-going-to-launch-something-b5ded2a3d1

And now my site is online: https://devremoto.club/

It's a hub for brazilian remote developers.

Right now it's simple: a recruiting platform for remote devs.

But i need some ideas to make it unique.. can you guys help me?

Thanks!

Here's some info:

  • Launched 7 days ago

  • 580 unique visits so far and 180 visitants returning to the website

  • 57 users

  • 33 applications (people is already using my platform to sending CV)

How it works:

Someone register on my website and upload a CV, then, whenever he applies to a job, i send the CV for the company via email (or if i doesn't have an email, then the users is redirected to thcompany website).

    Aeeeee!!! Parabéns!

    Congratulations man, great idea.

I saw that you don't have a chatbot yet, maybe I could help you with that.

    Parabéns, maninho(a)! :D

      Hahaha! #VaiBrasil!

Yes.. i don't have a chatbot yet.. what is your idea? Using chatbot for the people apply to the jobs?

      Obrigado!

Sorry about the delay. There's not a single answer to that, but you could start looking for patterns in the usage of your product. The chatbot could help you automate those default processes and help end users find answers by themselves.

You could easily start using one with microsoft's botframework or ibm's watson assistant and integrate it with your ui.

Hey Maat, thats quite intersting. Could you tell me how do you get the companies? Do you have and partnership with them or they are random companies?

    1. 1

Right now i'm focusing in grow the number of people using it to find a job. So yes, it's "random" companies that i find in the web.

There's some jobs there that people can't apply in my site, so i redirect to the company with some Google tags so they can know about me. But the jobs that's in DevRemoto, i usually send via email the person CV (using Sendgrid API for Transactionals email).

I have someone that is constantly looking for new job posts and companies (github, facebook groups, startup sites) and then we get in touch and offer an free job posting.

Congrats! I'm in the same boat. How are you aquring users?

    1. 1

      Hey Kermitt!

      Monkey job! =)

Yes, i know, it's not the usual and not the best way to acquiring users but it's doing the job.

I usually post in facebook/whatsapp groups about this.

No paid announce (and i don't plan to use it).

I'm thinking in doing some partnerships with some recruiters companies... I want to make DevRemoto a place where people can post a job, receive job applications and organize it (a bit like Recruitee, but simplier).
