I discovered the joy of software development while submerged hundreds of feet deep in the pacific ocean. I liked making software so much, I left my career as Navy Nuclear Submariner to learn everything I could about creating software. I've been working a W2 Job the last few months, but the last few years I worked freelance & contract work. On the side I create and sell programming courses on my website knowthen.com. The course topics are on things like: Golang, JavaScript, React and Elmlang. I'm working on a new set of courses that I'm really excited about... The new niche I'm working on is the coding / app side hustle.. Still a work in progress, hope to release first course just after the new year... It'll be at codesidehustle.com, when it's live. I've been reasonably successful with my courses, Every month I get 4 figure income, often with no more than 15 minutes of work. But don't misunderstand me, 98% of the hard work comes on the front end... It's not easy money :) I've figured out how to create a sales pipeline that works well... still learning new things every day, but happy share what I've learned. Love this community, it's super inspiring!
