Borislav Nikolov
Blending eight years of work experience with a year and a half of experience as a CEO of a minor design company in Varna, Bulgaria, I am looking to transition to fully remote and open-minded work environment. My last job qualifications were for one of the biggest fintech companies in the Balkans as a UX and iOS app designer. There, a worker in my position was bound to feel an absence of ownership and meaning for his own work, which is a feeling I get from any regular company.
I rebel at stagnation and do not appreciate feeling like a mere tool, which is why this is my choice for a new endeavor, and I believe my skills would are a great fit for any innovative startup or existing company. I am also an assistant basketball coach to one of the teams in Bulgaria. Seeing myself as an entrepreneur and a creative thinker, I know I can bring both my passion and expertise to anyone who looks to partner up or wants to create something that matters.
My proficiency already extends to almost all Adobe products, Sketch, UXpin, lnvisionapp and Marvel app among the wireframe and prototype tools. I have extensive experience in design which includes designing several iOS apps, a couple of WordPress themes and plugins, even shoes. Last but not least, I had the fortune of producing, screenwriting and directing a indie movie with my friends. As far as education goes, I did the entire curriculum in the San Diego University for Interaction Design, and I know that there is a dire need for proper user experience everywhere.
