I am not a technical founder - but I know what it's like to manage business through email and it kind of sucks...
I spent 21 years (2001-2022) in Silicon Valley working in B2B technology sales; my sales success led to an overwhelming amount of emails, hindering my ability to effectively manage my sales. I analyzed my email history and discovered that only 23% of my emails were deal-related, while the rest was simply noise.
I hired (bootstrapped) a team of engineers to build a tool that tracks important emails and connects them to my CRM (Salesforce). We created ThreadLive 1.0, the product had many flaws, but it helped! Seeing only important emails and then linking to opportunities in Salesforce made managing sales simple, and I became a better salesperson.
After 3 years using ThreadLive 1.0, I finished 2022 #2 in my company, closing 447 deals and generating $110M in revenue, while effectively managing all 1341 emails in ThreadLive. I wouldn’t want to do my job without ThreadLive.
I left my sales job to rebuild ThreadLive into an enterprise grade B2B SAAS product to help professionals manage business from their inbox.

My team built some incredible tech - at its core ThreadLive connects/follows emails in GMAIL or O365 Outlook; when an email is followed in ThreadLive a "thread" is created and all email messages are replicated to the thread. Users can send messages from ThreadLive or Email - the two stay in perfect sync.
Threads are different from emails because each Thread has a unique URL that is accessible by anyone on the email. This means email is no longer stuck in your inbox, it can be shared anywhere & linked to anything. We call this Object-Oriented Email - because your email is now an object.
🔗 LINK - where would you share a link? You put them wherever you need to 1-click back to the conversation.
🔍 FOCUS - Only follow important emails, ThreadLive becomes your “HOT LIST” for work email
🖇 PROJECTS - Group threads into projects so related emails are organized and connected
🏷 LABEL - auto added in Gmail - for example, follow a thread and put it in a project, 2 labels are automatically added in Gmail
Label 1 = ThreadLive
Label 2 = Project_Name
Recent update! ✅ Last week we hit a HUGE Mile Stone!! We just passed our Google Casa Tier II security screening
NO LONGER do our Gmail beta users see the scariest screen on the internet:
"⚠️ This App isn't verified by Google yet"
(PRO TIP -->> Getting through Google was much harder than anyone expected, the process is cumbersome and we ended up working with a solid 3rd party consultant to help us. DM me if you need help with this)
We are open to Beta users, if you are managing tons of email and want a simple way to organize your important emails please sign up for our beta on our home page.
Congrats Patrick! Love the story. Let me know if you guys need help on the design front.
